I am very proud to introduce my very first creation. The RESCO Patriot. A true instrument designed with durability in mind. Designed and built BY an operator FOR operators. In each phase of design and development, certain aspects of this watch were posted for review by a panel of knowledgeable watch enthusiasts and group of fellow US Navy SEALs. The result is one tough, sharp and well-built watch that will be at home in any environment from “Downrange to Downtown”. Much like the group of men that inspired its creation, this watch was designed to accomplish the mission and of course, retain its rugged good looks.
The plan started as a small project to design and engineer a tool watch that met and exceeded all the requirements put forth by a specialized group of highly trained operators and divers followed by distinct aesthetics and style. What I was looking for was a watch that would be right at home kicking doors and lighting fires in a less than permissive environment and be equally suited for a nice evening out when the mission is complete. I think you will find just that in the design of the Patriot.
As a testament to the design and finish of this piece, 80 of the first 300 watches in the Patriot line have been pre-sold to the very Navy SEALs who aided in the design process.
The Patriots’ long list of features includes a Super-Textured Unidirectional Bezel to facilitate easy use when using gloves or in the mud, whilst the engraved 12 hour bezel helps professionals monitor the length of their dives or even track a second time zone.
It has an integrated hex key screw-pin lug system to ensure that you don’t lose your prized investment in use. Other features include a screw-locked crown and screw-down solid case back; it can withstand a depth rating of at least 200 meters or 20 atmospheres.
The case is milled out of a solid block of surgical grade stainless steel which shields the automatic movement against the effects of magnetism. Within the case lies the heartbeat of this rugged tool, a tried and tested automatic movement that was chosen for its durability, the RW-2427.
This instrument is set with an extra thick scratchproof sapphire crystal, which has been coated with an anti-reflective solution on the inside to ensure exceptional legibility.
The matte black, grey or brown dial features luminous hands and markers, which are coated in Lum Tec GX Luminous Compounds for optimum luminescence in dark conditions.
The minute hand is prominent and lacquered in bright blue luminous compound to ensure quick and accurate reading of the elapsed time during your dive.
Its functions include: hours, minutes, seconds, GMT bezel and elapsed time.
The Patriot comes on a custom nylon strap, which is fastened via screw-locked bars, preventing any accidental loss of your prized instrument.
Each watch will come with a choice of 3 straps to include 1 Nylon, one Exotic Skin and 1 Kevlar-Style Composite strap.
Each watch is individually numbered and is detailed with an engraved case back, signed crown and signed strap buckles.
This rugged instrument is presented to you in a Pelican™ brand case with warranty card, instruction booklet, polishing cloth, and three straps.
